I volunteer because I want more people from my world climbing and because I want it to feel accessible, not like an exclusive club. Nothing fires me up more than watching someone push past what they thought they could do. While leading a climbing trip in Mexico, one climber led her first multipitch route, and seeing her step into that changed something in me too.
I love flat walls with lots of crimps and technical movement. I’m working on getting stronger on overhangs too, even if they feel like eating vegetables.
Fun Fact:
I did a jungle survival course in remote Guyana — two weeks of training followed by three nights completely alone in the rainforest with just a machete and minimal supplies.
