Since starting as a volunteer meetup in 2018, Queer Crush has grown into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with 30+ chapters California, Colorado, and Vermont. In 2024, we brought on paid staff, and as we enter our next phase, we're focused on building sustainable infrastructure and leadership that reflects the breadth and diversity of our community.

We're launching a transparent elections process to ensure our Board represents the diversity, passion, and vision of the people who make Queer Crush what it is. Many current Board members are also re-applying to create a level playing field for every role.
OFFICER
POSITIONS.
You don't need to be a climber. We're looking for folks who can bring skills in strategic planning, nonprofit governance, finance, fundraising, legal, HR, or organizational growth. You don't need to check every box. We value lived experience and diverse perspectives just as much as professional background. Allies are welcome!
All positions are for 2-year terms, and the same person may hold multiple officer positions. Anticipated volunteer time is 2-5 hours per month, and complimentary climbing gym memberships may be available for board members.

Facilitate effective board governance and inclusive decision-making
